Driftless Gold began over 150 years ago when our ancestors settled in a remote corner of the Kickapoo Valley, establishing a homestead and nurturing the sugarbush we still care for today. In 2015, Scott and Erica Walter revived that legacy by building a sugarhouse, installing an evaporator, and expanding sap collection—marking the official launch of Driftless Gold Pure Maple Syrup.

Today, in 2025, their daughter Connie and her husband Eli Allen are joining the business, ensuring the care and stewardship of our sugarbush continues into the future.
